Hi Beauties ❤️
The month of September was really a good month and went by really fast. Okay, so during the month of September, I purchased quite a lot products, tested and tried out a whole lot from well known cult favorite brands to just random brands I came across during the month that I loved and will want to recommend.
COLOURPOP ULTRA MATTE LIQUID LIPTICK. www.colourpop.com
I have been obsessed with liquid matte lipsticks lately, and have
something of a little growing collection. They are basically the only
thing that I've been using lately. Colourpop released some gorgeous
shades recently and I had to grab a few. I have been loving and reaching
more for neutral colors lately especially for my everyday wear. So I
decided to pick up some shades online. Solow being my favourite, is a
lovely peach brown shade. Dries matte and lasts a long time, smells lush
too.
PIXI SKINTREATS GLOW TONIC. www.pixibeauty.co.uk
Described by Pixi as "Oxygenating. Exfoliating facial glow tonic. It helps tone, firm and tighten the skin. It removes dead skin cells for healthier looking skin. For all skin types. Alcohol free." I read great reviews all over the internet about this product and decided to try it out for myself. After using this for less than a week- three days to be exact, I was hooked. There was a visible difference to my face, I wake up to a more radiant, clearer and smooth skin. A life saver for problematic skin, or anyone who's into skincare and wants to see a noticeable difference. It's inexpensive and smells lovely. Will definitely be repurchasing this product.
NARS BLAME IT ON NARS CHEEK PALLETTE. Exclusively at Selfridges .
The pink matte blushes Day Dream (Neutral Pink) & New Attitude (Cool Tone Baby Pink) are
limited edition, set off beautifully with the Satellite Of Love
glittery highlighter and Casino bronzer. I love the design of the
casing/packaging, it's vibrant, bright and beautiful, and the mini Ita
brush is an ideal plus. The palette makes for a perfect travel
companion.
This is a must have palette, if you haven't got it already I suggest you do before it sells out. |
- YSL FOREVER YOUTH LIBERATOR WATER-IN-OIL, www.yslbeauty.co.uk

NARS CONTOUR BLUSH- GIENAH. www.narscosmetics.co.uk
Gienah is a Honey/Amber contouring duo blush shade. The deeper shade used to contour and enhance definition while the lightest is used to illuminate the high points of the face. I popped in the NARS counter and had a makeup artist try this on me and I was blown by how much of a difference this made to my face. It gave a chiseled enhanced cheek bone that I've always wanted. I normally like to contour with creamy products and steer clear of powders but with this I just had to get and have been using ever since.
KIKO RADIANT TOUCH CREAMY STICK HIGHLIGHTER. www.kikocosmetics.com
A blendable, brightening, light illuminating highlighting creamy stick. An iridescent pearl glow colour which can be used to enhance, emphasize and define strategic points of the face when highlighting. Can be applied to face directly and blended with fingers or brush. Use on eyebrow arch, on the decolletage and cheekbones. Perfect if you're after an nice glowy evening look as it maybe be a bit too glittery for the day.
TOM FORD SKIN ILLUMINATING POWDER DUO - MOONLIGHT, www.tomford.com
A limited edition duo highlighter palette similar to Mac Extra dimension finishes or Nars Dual Intensity highlighters. Has an incredibly soft, finely milled and smooth texture. Easy to blend, buildable and visible on skin. the compact contains two shades- a soft opal white pale gold sheen and a rose gold peach with metallic sheen, richly pigmented. i haven't stopped using this ever since I got it, its so gorgeous. My skin glows in a youthful way. the light shade is more subtle on my skin whilst the bronzey shade shows up like a soft peach bronze contour highlight. Darker skin tone will differ strikingly. it lasts all day without getting too shiny, and also did not emphasize my pores, for this i must say, is worth every penny. Regardless what skintone it will look gorgeous.
MAC MINERALIZE TIMECHECK LOTION. www.maccosmetics.co.uk
This product is simply amazing, can be used as a moisturizer or a primer for a beautiful base before applying makeup. Lightweight silky gel like serum product that absorbs quickly once applied. It help fills in pores due to the film forming silicone technology by creating the illusion of blurred lines and wrinkles. On the skin this product absolutely feels refreshing, hydrating yet also firms the skin whilst improving the wear time of my makeup.
My skin feels and looks silky and helps the application of foundation glide on smoothly. I'll definitely recommend this product as trying is believing and loving!.
SACHA BUTTERCUP SETTING POWDER. www.sachacosmetics.com
I had to try this product after what people have been saying about it, several bloggers have compared and rated this to ever famous Ben Nye Banana powder. This setting powder however is finely milled and super soft to touch. Very blendable, easy to use and doesn't pull off ashy. Definitely a must try for brown skin tones.
