SPRING CHIQ BEAUTY HAUL

Spring/Summer often means experimenting and being a bit more daring with colors, so I thought it would be quite appropriate to bring this haul of what I've bought for spring. 

So, I recently picked up a few things from Selfridges. TOM FORD's spring 2014 makeup collection, I got the new collection of sheer lipsticks £36, which I read great reviews about. The colors that I got were PARADISO (a bright watermelon pink creme), INCORRIGIBLE ( a neutral fuchsia with a hint of shimmer) and FIRECRACKER(a fiery orange-red creme). These are vivid colours and from searching boast a rich, smooth texture that will leave soft stains all day. I must say the colors in this collection are to die for- iLove!!!

I plan on getting the rest of the colors from this collection (top of my Wishlist). I see myself wearing this beautiful line-up of lipsticks shades all year round. Whilst there, I also got the Nail Lacquer in the same collection in INDISCRETION (a brightened, medium dark fuchsia pink) and TOM FORD Ultra Shine Lip Gloss in PEACH ABSOLUT.

I went to the MAC counter and picked up the MAC VELUXE PEARLFUSION EYESHADOW PALETTE in PastelLuxe and PinkLuxe to test out. Described as Matte to highly pearlized finish. In my opinion it's great for sparkle and shine and they stay on for a very long time.

Eyeshadows are quickly becoming quite the obsession. I'll also be picking up a few more eyeshadow products from BH cosmetics (I've been meaning to get their new collections) in the near future...  

I recently repurchased MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in SUN POWER and MEDIUM DEEP. I've been using mineralize products for a while now mostly over my foundation to set , add a little more coverage and to highlight, the MAC. I absolutely love the finish it gives, It's  light weight, gives sheer coverage, natural finish, retouched without the whole cakey-look. Skinfinish range has become one of my favorite products from MAC.

Got some MAC lip pencils in SUMMERFRUIT, MAGENTA & LASTING SENSATION along with MAC's lustreglass lipgloss in MORNING GLORY and FLASHMODE. I don't know how I feel about these yet except they are pretty sultry colors, thinner texture compared to MAC lipglass, and it has a very glass-like shine to it. Delivers some color with plenty shimmer and glossiness!

Also got my hands on WET N WILD's MEGA LAST LIP COLOUR in CHERRY PICKING (famous across YouTube's phere lol). I bought this from Beauty Joint for less than £2 which makes it the cheapest lipstick I own. It's creamy and very pigmented, with a semi-matte to matte finish, wouldn't expect such quality from a cheap product.

Wet N Wild Mega Last, Cherry Picking. £1.67

Lastly, CHANEL Le Vernis Nail Lacquer  in BLUE BOY. I have been using this for a while now, and the Chanel colors are always so unique and very opaque in my opinion. Superb durability, dries super fast which is a plus for me. Overall I love it even though it's quite expensive. I don't expect less from Chanel.

I can't wait to try out all the products in the TOM FORD collection. I'm also planning a few spring makeup  looks, something incorporating all things in this haul.
