- Primers are a must for both face and eye makeup. Primers go on before foundation/eyeshadow and keep makeup in place for hours.
- To create the illusion of well-rested eyes, use a flesh-toned pencil to line the lower inner rims of your eyes, always make your eyes stand out!
- The color of powder eyeshadow can be made to look more intense by dipping your eyeshadow brush in water or setting spray first.
- Clay masks or mud masks reduce oily skin, and help draw out impurities.
- To neutralize dark under-eye circles use yellow-tone concealers.
- Apply pressed powder on and around your lips if your lipstick has a tendency to "bleed."
- For smooth, soft lips, take a clean damp washcloth and gently rub lips for 60 seconds before applying lipstick.
- If you pluck your eyebrows, do so before your bedtime. This way, any redness or swelling can have a chance to go away overnight.
- If you have chipped nail-polish and have NO time to redo your nails, add crackle or glitter on top to disguise!!
- Apply papaya on your face . Let it dry for 15 minutes then rinse. This will help prevent wrinkles.
- Clean your make-up brushes once a week with a clarifying shampoo or by mixing 1 tbsp of white vinegar in cup of hot water. Soak for 15mins. Let them air dry. This will help keep your acne under control!
- For soft hair, Use olive oil on your hair 1-2 hours once every week. After 1-2 hours wash out the excess oil that didn't penetrate.
- Limit sodas. Diet or not they do not make your skin pretty, but WATER does.
- Want to diminish stretch marks? Use Vitamin E oil and Cocoa butter. You can find both at your local drug store.
- Drink a glass of water before you go to bed. Helps reduce puffy eyes in the morning.
