I hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend. Here are a few beauty tips and fun facts that you can incorporate into your regime this summertime...

• Tinted moisturizers add color without covering up your natural glow. They are perfect for summer because they aren't heavy.

•  To keep brows in place, use a dab of lip gloss over your entire brow.

• A soft neutral lip color with dark eyeshadow is one of the hottest looks right now.

• A strong lip color is an easy way to draw attention away from imperfections. It lessens the visual impact of both acne and tired eyes.

• Corrective concealers (green or yellow) are helpful in covering up red areas on the face.

• Get eyeshadow to stay in place by priming lids with moisturizer and concealer.

• If you're looking for a surprising pop, try a turquoise liner. The color makes a statement on all skin tones.

• Don't touch your face with the palms of your hands. Dirt, oil, and bacteria can get clogged in your pores which causes acne.

• If you have oily skin but want to keep wrinkles away go for oil-free moisturizers that contain antioxidants.

• Freshen makeup by pressing a tissue on forehead, nose, chin. Then smooth on a thin layer of pressed powder with a brush

• Clean your make-up brushes once a week with a clarifying shampoo. Let them air dry. This will help keep your acne under control!

• If you don't have time to wash your brushes, use a baby wipe to do a quick clean.

• Once a week, raw natural honey can be used as a face mask for softer  skin and cleaning pores because it's a natural anti-bacterial product.

• One of the secrets to glowing skin is exfoliation. 1-2 times weekly. Helps keep those wrinkles away!

• Vitamin C is good for around the eyes if you have dark circles.

• The idea of nail polish is to make your nails appear nicer. Chipped polish just brings attention to poor grooming.

• Lemon juice, honey, milk, tomatoes, cucumbers are natural bleaches that improve complexion by removing dark spots and discolorations

• When using any hot tools make sure you always use a heat protector spray first. Prevents split ends and damage.

• For quick volume, flip head upside down, spritz roots with hairspray, lift head up, and then massage scalp for a few seconds.

• Mint and peach are the IT color this season!

• Buns can be messy and chic. As long as you pair a top knot with sharp makeup, the combination looks flawless.

• Basics allow you to update your look every season without having to buy all new clothes.

• Some of the best accessories for summer - A fedora hat with sunglasses and lipstick for a splash of color.

• Cross body purses have made a huge come back. They are cute and you don't even have to carry them!

I have been loving a lot of products during the month of June and am excited to share them with you all! In no particular order here are my June Favorites.

1. MAC MINERALIZE SKIN-FINISH HIGHLIGHT IN GLOBAL GLOW

I am seriously so obsessed with this highlighter! I LOVE golden highlighters and this one has been my favorite lately – it’s all I’ve pretty much been using. It just gives the perfect golden glow and is just stunnnning!!!. It retails for £23 and the new window compact packaging is really nice.

2. NYX BUTTER GLOSS IN FORTUNE COOKIE

I am truly in love with these butter glosses. This month I have been loving the shades “Fortune Cookie”. Its the perfect Nude Summer shade! I wear this almost everywhere when i have light /natural makeup on. The butter glosses are extremely pigmented and silky smooth on lips. These lip glosses  retail for $5.

 3. MAC STROBE CREAM

I use the Strobe Cream to brighten, clarify my skin, also as a skin booster & base for my makeup as it moistens, freshens and boosts the look of dull, flat or tired-looking skin, significantly reduces pores and a little of this cream goes a long way.  I have found that my makeup stays fresh and glowy which is fabulous!! I have been actually really liking it and been using it pretty much every day this month and will still be using throughout  Summer. Definitely a must have product. Retails for £23.50.

4. CHANEL SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL BRONZING MAKEUP BASE

It is cream base and you only need the smallest amount. I use a duo fiber brush to apply it with a light hand, sometimes before foundation. Chanel Soleil goes on feather-like, you don't feel you have something on, you don't look like you have bronzer on, it's a very subtle bronzer and you don't need to set it with anything on top as it looks sun-kissed in a natural way. The blendabilty of this is surprisingly good for a cream based product. The packaging is gorgeous, you get a lot for your money- £32 for 30grams which will last you a long time. I love it!!!

5. MAC COSMETICS- KELLY OSBOURNE LIPSTICK COLLECTION IN DODGY GIRL

I ordered this lipstick online on June 2nd… I NEEDED all the shades in the collection but unfortunately could only get my hands on Dodgy Girl-- a purple/lavender shade with pink undertones, with a Matte Finish. I haven't stopped using this beautiful color since I got it. This lipstick is part of the Kelly collection and are Limited Edition. The packaging for Kelly’s lipsticks are very pretty. Overall I am SO in love with this lipstick. I just think the color is absolutely gorgeous and extremely pigmented. Retails for £16.50.

6. ELF STUDIO LOTION WIPES IN VANILLA & COCONUT

I picked up these during the month and the reason am so obsessed with it, is because of the smell- like what VANILLA & COCONUT so lush!!. They are great for all over not just as makeup remover wipes. And since it they have lotion in them, leaves your skin feeling so soft afterwards. I cannot live without these now. Retails for £3.95

7. T-Zone Rapid Action Spot Zapping Gel

To be honest I wasn't really expecting much from this product when I got it- because of how cheap it was, but decided to try as I've been breaking out a lot lately and was tired of using scrubs.. And i was totally proved wrong. T-Zone Rapid Action Spot Zapping Gel rapidly targets, prevents and calms spots and blemishes. This cooling and quick-drying gel combines naturally anti-bacterial Tea Tree and Witch Hazel with skin clearing Salicylic Acid to help promote great looking skin. It reduced and cleared my spots in a couple of days and has since been one of my favourite spot fighting product to use. And for just £0.99 I'll definitely be stocking up on these.

MAY FAVOURITES

It's that time again... I love to see all the monthly favourites, as I personally usually want to go out and buy a bunch of products that I see other people have been loving lol, it always excites me. 

Here are some of the Favourites that I'm loving..

1. MAC Fix +

Now there are so many reviews about this stuff. It is definitely a must have! It cost £14.50 and is worth it. Its literally a hairspray for the face - your makeup will not move after spritzing your face with this, it adds a refreshing radiance. 

2. WET N WILD MEGA-LAST LIPSTICKS

One of my top favourite drugstore lipsticks. There are 20 lipsticks in this collection, I absolutely ADORE them. Super pigmented, long-wearing and super cheap which is AMAZING! They are less than £2/$3. I can't get enough of the colors in the collection I will be purchasing more.

3. LA GIRL PRO HD CONCEALER 

I have been using this stuff every day for cleaning my eyebrows once I've filled them in. I use the shades Creamy Beige for my brow bone because it is lighter and gives a nice highlight and Warm Honey or Fawn for above my brows since it is a little darker and blends better with my foundation. It does an excellent job around the brows for me. It is also a great for concealing blemishes! Ordered it off Ebay for £5-6.

4. NIVEA LIP BUTTERS IN RASPBERRY ROSE , VANILLA & MACADAMIA

My favourite lip balm by far, am obsessed with the Nivea lip butters!! So moisturizing and just smells amazing. I also love that it makes your lips very soft and pretty. A big favourite this month! Retails for £2.10 at Boots.

5. NYX COSMETICS BUTTER GLOSSES

I know am late when it comes to these glosses, there's been many many raves about it and i finally got my hands on them and I must say they are just amazing lip glosses- so pigmented and buttery. Gorgeous shades too,non sticky, lush smell and amazing price of £3 for the product.  

6. JORDANA BEST LASH EXTREME VOLUMIZING MASCARA

I just started using this mascara two months ago and I've been reaching for it ever since and really love it! It coats your lashes beautifully and is just an all over great mascara! It is also so cheap – it retails for $2.99.£4 on Ebay. You just cannot beat that price!

7. TOM FORD ULTRA SHINE LIP GLOSS
They are simply gorgeous!!!!! There are 10 shades in this collection and I picked up these two "Peach Absolut- sheer soft peach" and "Tawny Pink-  nude-pink-peach shade". It is such an amazing creamy gloss. The texture and consistency is smooth and thick, neither drying nor overly hydrating, fairly opaque and pigmented, low on excessive shimmer, long lasting. Overall the quality and finish of these are excellent. Retails for £32

8. MAC LUSTRE DROP IN PINK REBEL
It's a peached, pink champagne with a soft bronze metallic shimmer and sheen. I have been using this a lot over the month of May, by mixing it with my foundation for a dewy natural looking glow. Very subtle highlighter, buildable and blends in well with makeup. A must have for summer! Retails for £18

I am back with some more Beauty and Skincare Tips and Tricks for you.

• Primers are a must for both face and eye makeup. Primers go on before foundation/eyeshadow and keep makeup in place for hours.

• To create the illusion of well-rested eyes, use a flesh-toned pencil to line the lower inner rims of your eyes, always make your eyes stand out!

• The color of powder eyeshadow can be made to look more intense by dipping your eyeshadow brush in water or setting spray first.

•  Clay masks or mud masks reduce oily skin, and help draw out impurities.

• To neutralize dark under-eye circles use yellow-tone concealers.

• Apply pressed powder on and around your lips if your lipstick has a tendency to "bleed."

• For smooth, soft lips, take a clean damp washcloth and gently rub lips for 60 seconds before applying lipstick.

• If you pluck your eyebrows, do so before your bedtime. This way, any redness or swelling can have a chance to go away overnight. 

• If you have chipped nail-polish and have NO time to redo your nails, add crackle or glitter on top to disguise!!

• Apply papaya on your face . Let it dry for 15 minutes then rinse. This will help prevent wrinkles.

• Clean your make-up brushes once a week with a clarifying shampoo or by mixing 1 tbsp of white vinegar in cup of hot water. Soak for 15mins. Let them air dry. This will help keep your acne under control!

• For soft hair, Use olive oil on your hair 1-2 hours once every week. After 1-2 hours wash out the excess oil that didn't penetrate.

• Limit sodas. Diet or not they do not make your skin pretty, but WATER does.

•  Want to diminish stretch marks? Use Vitamin E oil and Cocoa butter. You can find both at your local drug store.

• Drink a glass of water before you go to bed. Helps reduce puffy eyes in the morning.

•  Argan oil is amazing for your skin, nails, and hair!.

• Tinted moisturizers add color without covering up your natural glow. They are perfect for summer because they aren't heavy.

• Use an illuminating cream-colored shadow along the cheekbones to perk up your complexion and on your cupids bow to give a plump pout look.

• To keep make up looking dewy, only use powder on your t-zone.

• Your brows are sisters, not twins! They don't have to be identical, just similar. Don't over pluck!

• Tweeze in the direction the hair grows.

• Put 4 table spoons of baby oil in your bath water. Your skin will be silky smooth in no time.

• To get rid of Blackheads: Mix a few drops of lemon juice with 1 spoon of sugar and rub gently on your face.

• Once a week, raw natural honey can be used as a face mask for softer skin and cleaning pores because it's a natural anti-bacterial product.

• Put your eye cream in the fridge for a few minutes before applying will help reduce puffy bags faster.

• Apply polish starting at the pinky, working toward the thumb to avoid dragging your hand across wet nails.

• Never file nails right after a shower or after they have been in water. They will be too soft and tear very easily.

• Remove makeup before you sleep. If you don't your pores will become clogged with the makeup and over time it causes wrinkles.

• Remember to cleanse, tone and moisturize every morning and evening, to make sure you stop the signs of premature aging.

• Don't use creams that contain heavy fragrance or alpha hydroxy acids on freshly shaven legs. They'll sting and cause a rash.

• Stick to spraying your perfume on your neck, your wrists, and behind your knees. These pulse points and the fragrance will last longer.

• Drinking alcohol can weaken your muscles by disrupting normal blood flow.

• Avoid salty foods. They can cause fluid retention and eye puffiness

• Drinking a glass of lemon water each day helps to reduce blemishes!

• Green Tea is beneficial for your oral hygiene, your immune system, your heart, and has antioxidants in it which keeps you looking young!

• Drink plenty of water for a beautiful complexion. Get eight hours of sleep every day. Not enough sleep will make you look tired and older.

If you always do what interests you, at least one person is pleased.

WEEKEND BEAUTY TIPS/TRICKS

Hey Loves, back again with my weekend beauty tricks...

• When applying bronzer, don't forget to soften the line and put some under your chin and down your neck!

• Using a contrasting color to line your lower lash line always make your eyes stand out!

• Balance out your shimmer. If you’re doing a shimmery eye, do matte lips.

• Only apply powder to your t-zone to keep your cheeks looking "dewy"

• Soak cotton balls in witch hazel then place them over your eyes for 10 mins. Helps with dark circles.

• Unless your teeth are sparkling white, avoid coral and orange lipsticks. Instead, try red, pink or plum.

• To neutralize dark under-eye circles use yellow-tone concealers.

• Rubbing lemon is a natural way to lighten the dark spots in the underarms, elbows and knees.

• Banana is wonderful as an anti-wrinkle treatment.

• To plump up lips, apply peppermint oil.

• Cherries- slow aging, reduces inflammation in the body.

• Apply concealer to clean up your lip line when finished applying lipstick.

• Concealer should be applied right about 1/2 inch below the bottom lash line. Light reflects upward, so this will brighten dark circles.

• Skipping meals can cause you to age faster. EAT ladies!

• Add rose water and coconut oil to a warm bath. Soak for 20 minutes, then rinse. Beautifies and softens your skin.

• Vitamin C helps transform a dull complexion to a skin that's radiantly glowing.

• Wondering why you are breaking out? It could be stress. Buy a de-stress candle and use some lavender in your bath. Less stress = less acne.

• Makeup only looks as good as the skin it's on. Take care of your skin if you want your makeup to apply flawlessly.
